SERVICE WRITER

ABOUT THE POSITION

The service writer will assist the Service manager in the day-to-day operation of the Service Department. The service writer organizes, leads, and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Open work orders and maintain control until closed and invoiced.
  • Audits time and materials used on work orders.
  • Updates equipment profiles information from work and purchase orders.
  • Assists with the coordination of activities of personnel conducting surveys on equipment based on such factors as operational performance, costs of operation and maintenance, operational safety, and compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
  • Assist the shop manager in the implementation of the Company safety plan within the department.
  • Assists with the coordination of repair and maintenance services to obtain maximum utilization of equipment and prevent operational delays in other departments.
  • Handles Maintenance department filing and records.
  • Supports the creation of scheduling staff duty rotations to ensure that servicing and repairs are completed as quickly as possible.
  • Work well with others.
  • Face to face sales with customers
  • Assisting with phone calls
  • Assume all Service Manager responsibilities in the event of their absence.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bi-Lingual (Russian/English) (preferred)
  • Good people skills.
  • Sale skills (preferred)
  • Diesel/ Gasoline knowledge.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • 2 years in a truck service department (preferred)
  • Excellent Communication Skills – written and verbal.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Windows-based software.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • MUST PASS A DRUG TEST.

mobile – heavy equipment mechanic

ABOUT THE POSITION

This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual (Mobile – Heavy Equipment Mechanic). An individual will be responsible for operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services. Record all work performed on an invoice. Perform after-hours service calls. Provides excellent customer service.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform mobile repairs on Semi- Trucks/Trailers
  • Being available for 24/7 for road call services 
  • Report to management 
  • Fill out proper documents 
  • Answer roadcall related phone calls and emails 
  • Good people skills 
  • Receive payments 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRMENTS

  • 2-year diesel/heavy equipment mechanic experience required ( Volvo,CAT,Cummins,Detroit)
  • Being always availble for roadcalls!
  • Working knowledge of both gasoline and diesel engines
  • Proven prior experience working on various machines
  • Required to have own tools
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • MUST PASS A DRUG TEST

heavy equipment mechanic

ABOUT THE POSITION

Under general supervision, heavy equipment, mechanic maintains, repairs, devises modifications for and overhauls a variety of large trucks, heavy construction, and related field equipment; and performs related work as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform preventative and routine maintenance on diesel/heavy equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical defects.
  • Conduct safety inspections of equipment and maintain maintenance records.
  • Operate equipment as needed.
  • Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain work area appearance and safety.
  • Work may consist of a day or swing shift, with some overtime, weekend and holiday work during busy production times.
  • Perform all job duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Work well with others.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Total Truck Shop is looking for the right person to wash our fleet of diesel trucks. We have over 40+ trucks in our fleet and are in need of full time person to help.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Wash the interior and exterior of all equipment
  • Maintains required records
  • Performs minor repairs in vehicle maintenance facility as needed
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  • Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRMENTS

  • Must have the ability to write and communicate effectively in English
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred

Heavy Equipment Technician

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for skilled heavy equipment electrician to maintain and repair vehicles and equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality.An excellent auto mechanic has good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. They are well-versed in complex mechanical or electrical and hydraulic systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
  • Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
  • Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
  • Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use
  • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
  • Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
  • Keep logs on work and issues
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
  • Work well with others.
